Mezzalunas are great for chopping lots of herbs. However, they are often bulky and dangerous in a drawer. The inclusion of folding handles means this mezzaluna is a significant improvement over the others available. The handles protect the blade, they save space and they make the cutting process quicker and easier by adding a slicing action to the normal rocking action.
