The 700 Series is driven by performance and defined by elegance. B&W tasked Goodwin Hartshorn with developing sophisticated forms to enhance and celebrate their award-winning performance.
The acoustic innovations are based on technologies from B&W’s iconic 800 Series and we were keen to mirror that in the design; to use the 800 Series to inspire the design. Hence, the previous cuboidal cabinets now have curving front baffles along with trims that reference the extruded aluminium pods from the flagship range. The fine-machined tweeter is based directly on technologies from the 800 range as are the new speaker terminals; design and engineering in harmony to create a dramatically improved range of products.
For the CMF, we selected luxurious materials and finishes that complement the design. The three launch finishes (black piano lacquer, satin white and a rosewood-like veneer) have since been augmented by the introduction of a Signature range with a high-gloss wood veneer or metallic blue paint.
The range comprises eight different speakers and sets the new performance standard at this price point!
