The Wolffepack  represents a new type of rucksack; it allows users to access their stuff whilst the pack remains attached to their backs. The rucksack consists of two parts: the harness (worn as a conventional backpack) and the bag (connected to the harness with strong, inextensible cords). A release button allows the bag to be lowered from the harness and swung around to the user's front. Pulling the handle returns the bag to the user's back. This is great for commuters, parents and skiers alike.
Working on a concept originally invented by David Wolffe, Goodwin Hartshorn developed the mechanical and industrial design of the mechanism from initial concepts, through countless developmental prototypes, to final CAD. Commuter bags are available along with ones specifically designed for parents, photographers and skiers. Patented.
