Traditional-style ‘box’ graters are very effective; they channel the cheese into a neat pile and have multiple grater planes to allow for different size gratings. However, they waste space within a kitchen cupboard. By folding flat, this grater has the advantages of a traditional box-grater without the storage issues. Moreover, once unclipped into the open position, the handle holes allow the grater to be easily held and easily cleaned. Image © Joseph Joseph. Design registered.
